About Me

Hi, I'm Caroline Erolin, a printmaker influenced by the natural world, animals, and anatomy. By day I work as a university lecturer in medical art and illustration. I'm a Fellow of the Institute of Medical Illustrators and have a PhD in medical visualisation, specialising in 3D digital modelling. However, when I get home, I love nothing more than getting my hands dirty with traditional media such as linocut printing and etching.

I've always loved nature and wildlife, so these tend to form my subject matter. I'm lucky to live in the Scottish countryside and keep a range of animals that often feature in my art, including cats, chickens, a dog, a leopard gecko, and a corn snake.
